Celtics took the hit with their fourth loss of the season. Something nice to say this year if you are a Celtics fan. Fourth loss and its January 10th? Common! That can't be beat. Besides the Celtics were missing Big Baby and Ray Allen. So it wasn't a real loss. Was it? I mean Celtics fans have lived through some tough years. (Acie Earl, Travis Knight, Eric Montross at Center). Kevin Garnett is patrolling the paint now and he's the leading vote getter for the All-Star game.
One would think that the Celtics would beat the Bobcats 9 out of 10 games. Only problem? The Bobcats don't think so. Some teams will not match up well for the Celtics. Maybe the Bobcats are that team. We'll see.
The Celtics will have their hands full in New Jersey. Jason Kidd is getting older but is still one of the top point guards in the league and always plays with great energy. The Nets as a team, are not a scary bunch. Vince Carter is an athletic shooter, who rarely goes to the rim these days. Richard Jefferson plays hard and is a tough cover but after that, the Nets are hoping/praying for other guys to step up. The Nets franchise seems to be treading water and that is never a good thing. Will Kidd stay and finish out the season? Depends how their season goes.
Need a strong bench on Friday night and the Celtics need to prove they can win when they face a little adversity. That will be the Rally Call.
